I currently live in Palm Harbor, Florida with my daughter and husband. We lived in Tamarindo, Costa Rica for 5 beautiful years but made our way back to Florida. I’ve been teaching for 25+ years and added an additional TEFL certification to my License so I could teach the English Language. I am passionate about teaching. I’m high energy and that translates in any language. I love to travel, to sail and to cook interesting dishes. I am an Intermediate Spanish speaker and I practice every day so I can connect with my students and community. Like my daughter says, “More languages equal more friends.”
Mi nombre es Kat Bonfiglio y actualmente vivo en Palm Harbor, Florida con mi hija y mi esposo. Vivimos en Tamarindo, Costa Rica durante 5 hermosos años, pero regresamos a Florida. He estado enseñando durante más de 25 años y agregué una certificación TEFL adicional a mi licencia para poder enseñar el idioma inglés. Me apasiona la docencia. Tengo mucha energía y eso se traduce en cualquier idioma. Me encanta viajar, navegar y cocinar platos interesantes. Soy un hablante de español intermedio y practico todos los días para poder conectarme con mis estudiantes y la comunidad. Como dice mi hija, “Más idiomas equivalen a más amigos”.
